Service overview
migratelms.com provides LMS platform migration services. We extract data from your source platform via authorized API access and import it into your destination platform. All migrations are scoped individually and delivered at a fixed price agreed upon before work begins.
Fixed-price agreement
Each migration is quoted at a fixed price based on the content volume you provide (courses, lessons, videos, enrolled users). The quoted price covers the complete scope described in your proposal. If additional scope is discovered during migration (e.g., significantly more content than estimated), we will notify you and provide an updated quote before proceeding.
Client responsibilities
You are responsible for providing valid API credentials for your source platform, ensuring you have the right to migrate your content, providing access to your destination platform (WordPress admin, Laravel server, or hosting credentials), and backing up your destination platform before migration begins.
Data handling
We treat all client data as confidential. API credentials, course content, user records, and enrollment data are used solely for migration purposes. All temporary data is deleted within 30 days of project completion. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Delivery and acceptance
Migrations are delivered to a staging environment first. You have 7 business days to review and request corrections. After staging approval, we deploy to production. Post-deployment corrections for issues within the original scope are included at no additional cost for 14 days after go-live.
Limitation of liability
Our liability is limited to the migration fee paid. We are not responsible for data loss on your source platform, changes made by third parties to your destination platform after migration, or service interruptions caused by your hosting provider. We strongly recommend maintaining backups of both source and destination platforms throughout the migration process.
Refund policy
If we are unable to complete your migration due to a limitation on our end (e.g., API access proves insufficient), you will receive a full refund. If you cancel after work has begun, you will be charged for work completed to date, prorated against the quoted total.
