What data we collect
When you submit a quote request, we collect your name, email address, and the migration details you provide (source platform, destination, course counts, etc.). We do not collect data from your LMS platform until you explicitly authorize migration and provide API credentials.
How we use your data
Your contact information is used solely to scope and deliver your migration project. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Migration-related data (API credentials, course content, user records) is used exclusively to perform your migration and is deleted from our systems within 30 days of project completion.
Data during migration
During active migration, we access your source platform via API using credentials you provide. Exported data (course structures, user profiles, enrollment records, video files) is stored temporarily on encrypted infrastructure and transferred to your destination platform. All temporary data is purged within 30 days of project completion. We do not retain copies of your content.
Cookies and analytics
Our website uses minimal analytics to understand traffic patterns. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. Contact form submissions are processed through our email system and are not shared with marketing platforms.
Your rights
You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@migratelms.com. We will confirm deletion within 5 business days.
Security
API credentials are stored in encrypted environment variables and never committed to version control. All data transfers occur over HTTPS/TLS. Our infrastructure runs on AWS with industry-standard security practices.
